The bottle you hold in your hand is a rare thing. Made to mark our 500th batch or Gyle of beer, only three barrels were ever produced. Brewed with a simple but elegant grist of Maris Otter, caramel malts and chocolate wheat, this quincentenary batch has been aged for over a year in freshly emptied oak bourbon barrels. The precious little left of this small batch after the angels have taken their share is one of the strongest and most decadent beers to come out of the Garage. Sometimes less is more.
