Welcome to the taproom at 91 Aro

Just up from the brewery and over the road is our Taproom - 91 Aro, a cosy neighborhood bar for locals and visitors alike!

We have 18 rotating taps, including a Lukr tap for that creamy lager fix, a cask line and, other treats in cans and bottles and some special tucked-away cellar brews, there's plenty to choose from. We serve beer and wine crafted by our team at our brewery and at our Wild Workshop, ranging from your classic lagers and ales to your weird and wonderful sours and wild ferments.

Whats that red thing?

Our ‘Flux Capacitor’ (that contraption over there with all the gauges) is one of a handful in the world.

The Flux ensures perfect pours with ideal carbonation and temperature for every pint, enhancing beer flavour and reducing waste, all while looking badass

The Lukr

Another tool we employ in the endeavour to pour you the perfect pint is our Side pour ‘Lukr’ tap. It provides a unique pouring method that enhances the taste and presentation of our Czech-style lager. These taps allow for precise control over the flow and aeration of the beer, resulting in a creamy, dense foam head that protects the beer’s freshness and flavor. Additionally, the gentle pour reduces oxidation, preserving the beer’s delicate nuances and ensuring a perfect, refreshing pint every time. Can I have a pint here?

Yes please. We have 18 taps of ever rotating beers, spanning a wide range of styles so we’re sure you’ll find something you like. Can’t decide on just one? We offer a tasting flight of four beers of your choosing.

Am I able to book a table?

Soz, nope. Unfortunately because we are such a small space we aren’t able to reserve tables.

Oh we have snacks don’t you worry. From Kiwi Delicacies like Chips and Onion dip to excellent toasted sandwiches, we have a little something for everyone. We are a small bar with a small kitchen but we do our best to keep you fed, from small plates ideal to sharing, to a few more substantial options. Let us know if you have dietary requirements. We are able to cater to most dietary needs.

Can I buy beers to take away from the Taproom?

Nope, we are an on-license venue and so you have to enjoy your pints in the bar itself. Lucky for you, If you’re after a flagon fill up or takeaway cans, our Cellar Door is just down the road! With 8 rotating tap beers and a wide collection of canned and bottled beers, as well as merchandise, you’re sure to find something to take home with ya. The Cellar Door closes a little earlier than the Taproom so check out their hours here.

Am I able to bring my dog into the Taproom?

We love pooches of all kinds, please do bring them along!

Is the Taproom family friendly?

Kids are welcome when accompanied by their legal parent or guardian. We have soft drinks and proper potato crisps to keep them happy.
