The Wild Workshop is Garage Project's central Wellington brewery dedicated to mixed-fermentation, barrel-aging and nature-led brewing.

As a Wild Club member, you’ll receive three boxes over the course of the year, as well as a bundle of ongoing perks. Hand-curated by our head brewers Pete Gillespie & Dave Bell, each box features six beers brewed in our Wild Workshop. Every delivery includes Club-exclusive one-off beers, rare bottles from our cellar, a storytelling mini-zine, and regular bonus extras.

Three hand-curated boxes, yearly

Every box contains a selection of six beers brewed at our Wild Workshop in Wellington, an ever-evolving range of styles spanning spontaneous ferments, barrel-aged blends, fruited foeder ales, and many others. Each line-up is thoughtfully chosen by Pete & Dave - a mix of new releases, bottles from our cellar collection and always at least one beer that exists nowhere else.

Behind-the-scenes insights & extras

Each box also comes with a printed mini-zine containing stories from the brewery, technical and tasting notes, essays, photos and recipes. Boxes feature regular extras, too; merch, collaborations, experiments, ingredients and artisan edibles, shared as projects come to fruition.

Kia ora, welcome, great to have you here

Brewing at the Wild Workshop is a labour of love and exploration. In many ways, a lot of what we do here is very traditional - but it’s also some of our most radical brewing. Failure is always an option when you try something new, and we get plenty of that, but there are triumphs as well, and they make it all worth it.

We love this slow, totally different style of brewing. There’s a lot of experimentation and interaction with the ingredients, and they create incredibly complex flavours - but many of the beers here are produced on such a micro scale that they don't make it beyond the brewery, and too often we're the only ones who get to experience the delight of a brilliant single barrel or a unique blend.

These beers are drinkable and delicious and complex. Unique beers, for people who want complexity, interest and to feel connected to the glass in their hand.

We want to share them with people who love the process as much as we do. If you’re one of them, this is the club for you.
