FRESH March '24

Fresh IPA, a rolling, ever changing, monthly series of one offs, brewed in small batches and available only from our brewery outlets and only while stocks last. Each batch is an opportunity to try a new brewery fresh IPA, unfiltered and unfined, showcasing a unique combination of yeast, malt and hops. Just fun, fresh hoppy beer at its best.

It’s a new season and a new FRESH release. Yes, it’s March already, time for another hit of FRESH hazy IPA and we’re on a roll.

Light Lager malt gives a pure white bread Japanese milk bun sweetness to MAR, with wheat and chit malt for mouthfeel, haze and foam. Then Citra Cryo hops in the boil and a heavy dry hop of Mosaic, Nelson and NZ Cascade with just a tickle of Nelson Sauvin liquid hop-kief. Cracking the can releases an instant room filling hit of volatile hop aromatics loaded with passionfruit and starburst lollies.If you can be bothered pouring it into a glass you’ll be treated to a beer that’s an opaque pale green gold, with a dense creamy white head that will lace all the way to the last sip. The aroma in the glass is mango and fresh squeezed OJ with just a hint of gooseberry and white grape. The first sip is all creamy sweetness up front, like mango Weiss Bar with a touch of pineapple, a sprinkle of sherbet and lime zest.

All in all a pretty banging way to see out the tail end of Summer and welcome in a new season.
