Each Twelve Bottles of Christmas pack contains One of each of the following brews :

1x The Great Deluge 375ml
Sour Porter 7.8%
brewed with barley, oats, roasted wheat and East Kent Goldings, then aged in oak barrels for over a year with brettanomyces and lactobacilli creating a throwback style porter with dark chocolate and coffee notes and a restrained tart twist.

Wildflower: Hopbine 375ml
Foraged Hopbine Wildflower Sour 7.5%
The latest release in our ongoing series of foraged flower ferments. For this brew, freshly harvested whole bines were plunged into a light golden base wort creating a spontaneous fermentation using only the wild yeast present hops. The beer was then allowed to age and develop for a year in oak barrels before being infused with another dose of wet hops flown straight from the harvest. The result of this brewery outing is a complex yet clean citrus like sour, bursting with a delightful fresh hop aroma

12th Anniversary Belgian Quad 375ml
Belgian Quad 12.0%
Brewed using a massive complex grist of barley, rye, dark candi sugar and a special Belgian yeast. This is a huge beer, boasting an enormous rich dried fig, fruit cake and toffee pop malt palate, overlaid with complex spicy top notes and warming alcohol. Go big or go home.

Chance, Luck & Magic '23 375ml
Spontaneous Five Year Blend 8.1%
Having won a silver medal at the international World Beer Olympics earlier this year for the 2020 vintage, Chance, Luck & Magic '23 continues to impress as our first ever five-year blend release. Layered complexity and tart acidity make this a must-try for any Belgian-style beer enthusiast.

Pilgrims Blend 2022 375ml
Mixed Culture Fermentation 8.0%
A unique beer, born of a pilgrimage across 5 states in the US and 2 in Australia to visit some of the world’s most exciting wild and sour breweries. In an act of characteristic openness and generosity, each brewery gifted a sample of their own ‘house culture’, the collection of yeast and bacterial strains responsible for their beer’s unique flavour. From these gifts we produced 9 different barrels, then blended them with one of our own, creating a deliciously complex beer, with a restrained acidity and citrus fruit notes. A true celebration of brewing culture.

Back Block 375ml
Blended Manuka Wild Ale 6.7%
Wildflower ale, spontaneous fermented using only the wild yeast from freshly foraged mānuka flowers, aged in oak barrels and then blended with a batch of fresh beer ‘hopped’ with mānuka tips. The result is a deliciously drinkable dark ale, with a delicately tart citrus, floral, honey flavour and a light, spicy mānuka twist. Go wild.

Chance, Luck & Magic '22 375ml
Spontaneous Four Year Blend 8.1%
The ultimate expression of Wild Workshop’s inner city terroir, and sequel to Chance, Luck & Magic 2020, twice-winning silver medalist Belgian-Style Sour Ale at the World Beer Cup. An artful blend of four years’ worth of 100% spontaneously fermented beer, aged in a mix of oak and acacia, creating a complex and beautifully balanced beer with tart fruit notes and a superbly dry finish.

Thor's Cup 375ml
Norwegian Farmhouse 7.7%
Thor's Cup, inspired by the traditional farmhouse ale that has been made in Norway for centuries, using Kveik yeast (pronounced kwike in English). Brewed using fresh juniper branches in the mash and a touch of beech smoked malt, this beer's unique flavour comes from two mixed Kveik cultures collected from traditional brewers in Voss and Hornindal, and brought back to New Zealand. Dark malts vie with tart yeast driven complexity and subtle hints of smoke and resin in a beer that can truly claim to be unique.

Single Fruit: Ruby Red Kiwifruit 375ml
Red Ruby Kiwifruit Sour 7.0%
A blend of carefully selected puncheons of our spontaneously fermented coolship ale, conditioned on ripe Ruby Red Kiwifruit, sourced directly from Glenview Orchard, Ngāhinapōuri. The result is a luscious vibrant candy pink beer with a delightful zesty aroma and sweet tart palate.

Cabbages & Kings 375ml
Horopito Oyster Stout 12.0%
Imperial Oyster Stout, brewed with the more or less willing assistance of ten dozen fresh Te Matua Bay Pacific oysters, Horopito and Manuka smoked malt. Dark, certainly - and rich with just a suggestion of brine, a touch of smoke and a hint of native New Zealand pepper leaf.

Edgar  375ml
Phantasm Farmhouse Ale 8.2%
Edgar, oak barrel aged farmhouse ale, laced with Sauvignon Blanc-derived Phantasm thiol-enrichment powder, and fermented with a unique blend of Wild Workshop and Sapwood Cellars’ own house cultures. Brilliant gold farmhouse ale with otherworldly notes of bright citrus, gooseberry and white grape.

Rua 375ml%
Foeder-aged mixed ferment ale 7.3%
Rua, Te Reo Māori kupu (word) for the number 'two', and our name for the very special oak foeder that produces this beer. New Zealand malted barley and wheat, aged hops and extended foeder ferment with our own mixed house strain produces a deliciously drinkable ale with balanced juicy tartness and a satisfying, complex body.
