Welcome to the Wild Rumpus. A rotating selection of Wild Workshop specialty brews - sours, spontaneous creations, barrel aged wonders.
This September, each Wild Rumpus trio contains two of each of the following beers:
Two Bites: Boysenberry & Blueberry 375ml
Boysenberry & Blueberry Sour 8.1%
Oak barrel aged beer, fermented with our own house culture and then ‘double dipped’ with Blueberries and Boysenberries for a rich colour, deep, soft fruit flavour and bright berry aroma.
Dubbel Down 375ml
Belgian Style Dubbel 7.5%
Six malts and a specially selected Belgian yeast strain creates an ale inspired by the traditional brews of the Trappist monks. The result is a rich rosewood coloured ale with delicate floral, clove aromatics and a complex dried cherry and spiced raisin fruitcake palate.
Rua 375ml
Foudre aged mixed ferment ale 7.3%
New Zealand malted barley and wheat, aged hops and extended foeder ferment with our own mixed house strain produces a deliciously drinkable ale with balanced juicy tartness and a satisfying, complex body.
